FASTENER FAILURE ANALYSIS
Nuts and bolts break causing downtime and revenue loss. You need to know how and why it failed to be able to prevent future reoccurrences. Prevention will help eliminate liability risks, promote client retention and customer satisfaction. Fasteners can fail due to an unnerving variety of common and simple reasons, many of which are caused by normal routine maintenance practices and procedures. Expert can create a detailed failure analysis report with corrective actions.

TORQUE VALUE COMPUTATION AND JOINT ANALYSIS
Have large diameter fasteners you need to tighten properly? Have bolts you cannot identify? Have a multiple bolt connection you need to be sure is evenly loaded? Need to properly tighten a joint with a gasket to be sure it doesn't leak? Problems with wheel bolts? Treads on Snow Cats loosening? He will provide torque values for any diameter bolt, any style, any material.

TRAINING
Satisfy your ISO training requirements by one of Expert’s programs. Technical seminars can be for internal personnel as well as customers and for sales product training: Fasteners, Welding, Hydraulic Hose and Hose Fittings. This can also be in the form of product applications and failure analysis with preventative measures. Expert also offers training for ISO internal auditors.

WRITING
QC / QA Manuals, ISO Manuals or section updates, Process Procedures and Instructions. Specifications for Fasteners, Materials Specifications, Test Specifications, Plating or Surface Finishing. Product Manuals and Updating to latest ISO, SAE, ASTM or other Industry Standards. Technical Marketing Brochures and Literature.

OPERATIONS IMPROVEMENT
Process Mapping, Root Analysis, Lean and 6-Sigma methodologies for business, manufacturing and supply chain. Establish Continuous Improvement Practices, Auditing Schedules and Documentation Methods. Internal and External Customer Satisfaction Metrics, Vendor Performance Evaluation Metrics, Corrective Action Reports.

WELDING
Basic to Intermediate levels and a refresher for Advanced welders. Training for sales personnel on the Features-Advantages-Benefits of Alloy electrodes; how to sell and demonstrate their products. Expert can teach customers how to maximize the use of their Alloy Electrodes or common stick rods. Discussed are: Electrode Diameters and their use with different thickness materials; AC/DC differences; Duty Cycle ratings; AWS numbering system; Joint Preparation and Types; Techniques for Cast Iron; Techniques for Out-of-Position welding and more.

Was retained by law firm to give expert testimony for defendant for an automotive related failure. After examination of broken pieces, he identified the cause as being unrelated to defendant's involvement.Problems with fasteners on a locomotive engine. He identified the problem was due to heat and liquid metal embrittlement of a part, made suggestions for material substitutions and different processing to solve problem. Problems with clutch bolts on a metro bus. He identified the problem was due to after-market products but made corrections to assembly practices to be able to still use the products without scrapping them, saving time, money and down-time. Problems with wheel studs on bus. He identified the problem, offered correction techniques to eliminate failures. Cement truck bolts were breaking. He identified the failure as stress-corrosion-cracking. Determined the cause was from the common practice of washing the vehicles down with muriatic acid. The bolts were in a blind area and not being neutralized. Drain holes were drilled and better rinsing was employed.
