With the French administration, the building code of masonry was developed at the French level (DTU) and at the Europe level (Eurocodes).
He was deeply involved in production, product development and quality.
The Heavy clay industry produces structural clay products, such as bricks, chimney tubes. As manager of the French technical center for clay bricks and roof tiles, he knows these products quite well.
In addition some tiles (floor and wall) are red products, produced usually by brick makers. As the manager of the French and roof tile R and D organization, he was involved in the solutions of the issues of theses red products.
During more than 25 years, I worked with the Battelle Memorial Institute (Columbus Ohio) and made numerous technical consultancies of processes and products.
