Chinese Materials and Regulations for Fabrication of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, and Others
ID: 724434
China
He has 4-year working experiences in Germany and 4-year working experiences in the USA and 10-year working experiences in China, all focusing on materials engineering and technology.
Expert has a lot of knowledge and experiences in Chinese pressure vessel regulation, codes, and fabrication practices. He has a broad knowledge of Chinese regulations on three major areas: 1, pressure vessels fabricated in the US and Europe and to be used in China; 2, pressure vessels fabricated in China and to be used in the US and Europe; 3, pressure vessels fabricated in China and to be used in China. Different regulations, codes and laws shall be applied for the three different situations. It is his expertise to interprete in details the Chinese regulations, as well as the US and European regulations, and assist both the manufacturers and the clients to reach a smooth product delivery without the violation of any pressure vessel regualtions.
Expert has a broad knowledge and extensive experiences in materials engineering and application. especially the application of composite materials, FRP, plastics coating and lining, glass lining, various alloys, and the corrosion analysis and failure analysis of these materials. Expert is also very familiar with the fabrication and quality control of many critical processing equipments and parts, such as fasteners, gaskets, valves, flexible hoses, pipes, fittings, and vessels. He is particularly familiar with the regulations, standards and markets of these materials and equipments in China, and understands the difference between Chinese standards and the major North American and European standards.
Consulted on a project team get a quotation from a Chinese pressure vessel manufacturer with only half the price of the US competitors. The expert was consulted about the background, qualification and typical delivery time of the Chinese manufacturer. This kind of consulting work can be an efficient prescreening before the costly on-site auditing.Consulted on a project team was attempting to use Chinese low alloy carbon steel 16MnR to substitute ASME SA516, Grade 70, to save cost. However, they have little knowledge of this Chinese material and the procurement requirements. The expert is consulted to compare these two materials and provide useful guideline on the material procurement.More than 80% of fasteners (bolts and nuts) consumed by the world are supplied by Chinese manufacturers. The expert was consulted frequently about the quality and procurement requirements of the Chinese fasteners.
