Accident, Accident Investigation, Expert has worked in the field of Accident Investigation for many years both in the criminal and civil settings. Expert has developed an Accident Investigation Course that finds the cause of an Accident. Sometimes this is good for the Company, Sometimes not so good. Expert finds the cause, right, wrong, or indifferent. Expert builds on the result to establish true and effective methods of correcting the problem.
Automotive Safety, In the law enforcement career Expert had launched he had the opportunity to work directly with vehicles ensuring Automotive safety, drivers responsibilities, insurance compliant companies and advanced accident investigations allowing Expert to observe directly the cause and result of poor Safety practices. Expert also worked in the field of DOT compliance and traffic regulation.
Chemical Exposure, As an EPA interim provider, Instructor Expert has instructed several courses in hazardous materials (EPA 165.15) to include decontamination procedures for may types of chemicals. As a hazardous materials technician Expert has attended many real life events that have had people contaminated with various hazardous chemicals.
Chemical processing plant accident investigation, One of Expert’s many clients is a TSD waste incineration facility. Expert has authored an accident investigation program that investigates accidents directly involving hazardous materials processing systems. Expert has had a fire amount of success with the programs authored following a processing failure.
Confined Space Safety, Expert teamed up with, and authored a Confined Space Program with Professor Jon Shields of Utah in early 1992 to develop a Confined Space program. The program involved all three levels of entry, operations, and rescue personnel training. This coursework was adopted by three western states as the industry standard.
Expert has applied his entire public and private safety background to industrial safety, as he has learned new topics, Expert adapted new prevention ideas and instructional methodology disciplines in many industries. He has learned new safety practices by investigating what has gone wrong in many different environments. Expert has attended numerous selected train the trainer courses to become a trainer in the most active accidents, as well as many courses to be proactive against the routine accidents. Expert has developed several courses and designed modifications to existing off the shelf courses that do not seem to work. In doing this Expert had climbed the ladder to become an Assistant Director of a very large college. Expert, now retired, is taking his knowledge and experience directly to industry. Expert is a leader in the industrial safety arena applying all he has learned from his public safety, and his educational career, to teaching industry the lessons he has learned over the past 27 years.
