Helped A midsize health food company in the procurement, linelayout and installation of a complete packaging solution consisting of dry filling equipment, labeling, induction sealing, capping, case ercting, case sealing and pallet layout.Helped every process cheese company in the USA automate the product handling and cartoning of the large Sams Club style IWS cheese cartons by eliminating 4 people per shift and cartoning it automatically. It also eliminated the the possibilty of carpal tunnel syndrome. We found that the standard machines available were much too large so we developed our own, which is now the standard in the industry.Developed an infinitely adjustable glue application machine which is PC-based to apply glue to corrugated flats. This machine is used by corrugated box makers to form foam-lined boxes for many different applications. It sped up the process by 5 times and eliminated some labor.Developed a machine to assemble metal channels into foam blocks and apply a bar code label automatically. This machine saved 6 people per shift.Developed a machine to apply invoices to boxes on an assembly line. This saved labor and increased speed as well as getting hot melt glue away from line personel who were constantley burning themselves with the 350 degree glue.
