A registered and chartered architect and access consultant with over 20 years experience, Expert has worked in
private practice, in accessibility and community technical aid fields, and in aid development work in tropical Africa.
His proven track record of access audit, appraisal and design commissions is backed by his architectural
experience and by consultant membership of the National Register of Access Consultants (NRAC), the Centre for
Accessible Environments (CAE), the Access Association, UK Institute for Inclusive Design (UKiiD) and,
previously, the RIBA Yorkshire Access Group. Expert has recently completed, the Masters Degree in
Accessibility and Inclusive Design at Salford University UK, gaining Distinction. He presents talks, seminars and
workshops on accessibility to clients, consultants and colleagues. A mobility impairment gives him empathy and
understanding for individuals! varying requirements of the built environment.
