Expert is a Consumer Psychologist who has worked as a senior lecturer, researcher and consultant for many years. Her main area of research is how to make products more appealing through the use of different senses (e.g. touch, vision). Additionally, she also has a research interest in the link between happiness and consumption, consumer decision making, and the role of emotion in consumer processes. She was the first person in the UK to have both a BSc and PhD in Consumer Psychology. Expert has worked on numerous research projects together with large international companies. She is the first person to write a 'text book' in Consumer Psychology and has published several research articles.
Expert has in the past helped with research projects in terms of how to best collect data and how to analyze the data.She has provided in-house talks/training to staff about particular aspects of Consumer Psychology (e.g. decision making, the role of touch in consumption etc.).
