Expert has 30 years experience in teaching, research, and guiding graduate students. His Soil Chemistry course attracted students from a variety of disciplines. The majority of Expert's research has been oriented toward soil impacts on environmental problems, and in most cases the soil has been found to have an ameliorative effect on the problem studied. He has investigated the ability off soil to remove toxic heavy metals from solution as well as the impact of organic compounds on these reactions. In the process of his research Expert suggested alternate methods to study the problem and did some of the initial research on the methods.
