Expert has over 23 years of experience as an Architectural Expert Witness and has been involved in over 100 cases, been deposed over 30 times and has had 9 court appearances. He provides unbiased and impartial expert testimony and litigation support services for both plaintiff and defense attorneys.
Expert has been registered as an Architect in Georgia, Florida, Arizona, South Carolina, New York, Colorado, Alabama and Ohio. He has over 35 years of widely varied experience as a practicing architect as well as hands-on construction experience. This makes him uniquely qualified to analyze construction methods and drawings, to detect errors and omissions, to evaluate accident sites and determine if building codes or ADA regulations have been violated and to reconstruct sites when the only remaining evidence is photographs.
Expert worked on a case in Vermont where a woman tripped on an entrance floor mat for a store. The store had removed and disposed of the mat before she even left the store. The defense supplied the Plaintiff’s attorney with 3 pictures that were taken right after the fall. All of them poor quality cell phone shots. After determining that the bricks in a wall in the background were standard size bricks, he was able to project dimensions from them onto the floor below. Projecting the dimensions to the entrance door floor mat, he determined that the mat was too thick and in violation of the building code.
