He has performed more than 1,000 valuations of businesses, financial instruments, intangible assets, and other assets and liabilities. He has served boards of directors of public, private, and nonprofit organizations as member or advisor. He's also been appointed as bankruptcy examiner, bankruptcy trustee, or accountant, consultant, and/or financial advisor or as interim CEO or CFO in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcies, and he's been appointed as neutral in judicial matters and arbitrations.

Expert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, CFA Institute, CFA Society New York, Turnaround Management Association, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, and American Academy of Economic and Financial Experts. He has served as member or committee chairman of several committees of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Turnaround Management Association.
