Expert develops and directs legislative agendas affecting pipeline safety and gas industry regulations, including testifying before legislative committees and serving as the media point person with regards to accidents and existing hazardous conditions that warrant changes in regulatory structure and improving existing practices. Expert also serves as an expert witness in legal proceedings relative to his industry expertise and as a consultant to municipalities and elected officials regarding natural gas safety.

Expert has also been recently selected by both the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC), and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) to be their coordinator to natural gas field workers, where he will assist these agencies in addressing natural gas regulatory violation and safety concerns in general.
