Expert is a construction industry professional with more than 35 years of hands-on experience across nearly all trades involved in new construction and remodeling of residential, commercial, multi-residential, and condominium properties. Expert holds a general contractor's license in the State of California and currently owns and operates a full-service construction firm specializing in commercial and residential construction and construction defect expert witness services.

Over the course of Expert's career, Expert has worked in a range of hands-on roles — including carpenter, foreman, lead mechanic, and framing subcontractor — across large-scale HOA projects, commercial door and hardware installation, railroad infrastructure, grocery and retail remodeling, public works, pest and termite remediation, and custom residential framing. Expert is also an accomplished cabinetmaker and woodworker with expertise across cabinet manufacturing, design, and installation.

Expert has developed particular expertise in fire and life safety access issues, door hardware and frame installation, and the evaluation of water damage and structural water intrusion. Expert has applied this trade and construction management background to a litigation consulting practice, serving as a construction-related expert witness for both plaintiff and defense counsel, including site inspections, expert reporting, cost analysis, and testimony at deposition, arbitration, and trial.
