Expert went on to lead mechanical engineering efforts for point-of-sale and industrial wireless communication devices before joining a multi-billion-dollar OEM provider of banking, security, and professional services products. Over a 14-year tenure there, Expert progressed from Mechanical Engineer to Principal Engineer within the Global Product Development organization, then advanced into senior leadership roles within Global Procurement, ultimately serving as Senior Director of Product Sourcing. Since 2012, Expert has served as Founder of a change management and organizational growth consulting firm, delivering strategy, leadership development, and capability-building services to more than 75 global organizations across start-up, non-profit, mid-market, privately held, publicly traded, defense contractor, and government/military sectors, and has trained and collaborated with more than 1,000 client team members.
Expert is a named co-inventor on more than 100 U.S. and international design and utility patents related to automated banking equipment and currency-handling technologies, and has provided technical consulting and/ witness services in multiple intellectual property, patent infringement, government contract, and commercial litigation matters.
