Fourteen years of China experience, having lived in China three times, for seven years altogether. Since 2010 catalyzing innovation for Audi in China, and bringing fresh ideas and talent outside in, linking university and company, and deep-diving into China's startup ecosystem as a mentor. Ran the very first hackathon the company ever made worldwide and learned Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies from the people who invented them, like Stanford University, IDEO, frog, SOS Ventures and Google.
Since 2002 understanding Chinese user needs and tailoring cars for this market as a technical project manager of A6L, Q5 and A4L which I successfully launched and which all three are significant cornerstones of our company's revenue. Cooperating in a joint-venture environment, managing an automotive development process across partners and cultures which included a lot of negotiation.
Before that various engineering positions in electronics and automotive in pre- and series development. A holder of 10 patents. Wide experience working with emerging technologies and early supplier engagement, and technologies including laser welding, 3D printing and additive manufacturing, automotive infotainment and connected cars, electric cars, ADAS and automated driving, and many more.
