I am currently a meteorologist at WFMY in Greensboro, North Carolina. Most folks across the Triad know me as "Mo" from my series "Mo on the Go!" wherein I feature phenomenal women who serve the Central Piedmont in STEM-related careers. I am so honored to be recognized for my accomplishments within this industry and community! In 2022, I was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 Most Influential African-Americans in the Triad and joined the University of Maryland's Class of 30 Under 30 Top Alumni. I have earned a master's degree in Applied Meteorology from Mississippi State University, a B.S. in Atmospheric & Oceanic Science and a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park. I was named the first student at the university to dual-degree in these two areas of study.

Responsibilities: Expert made use of critical model data via analysis, interpretation and input, then marshaled her findings to develop and disseminate the most accurate, useful forecast possible.
