He has successfully project-managed Cadogans’ work for last five years in an on-going multi-billion Euro arbitration related to the construction of a nuclear power station in Finland.
Expert investigated deficiencies in the design of an industrial structure as part of a multi-million pound dispute. He has also investigated professional negligence of designers and/or contractors in the failure and malperformance of a variety of structures. Recently he has been involved in the deficient design of a stadium and malperformance of a multi-storey car park.
Expert has given evidence in court and attended mediations. He is also a member of the Editorial Advisory Panel for Forensic Engineering journal of the Institution of Civil Engineering (ICE), UK. He has been recently appointed to the ICE’s Health and Safety Expert Panel.
In the past, he was responsible for the design of retrofitting scheme of earthquake damaged reinforced concrete buildings in India. He has also investigated the collapses of elevated reinforced concrete water storage tanks. As a design engineer he designed self-support and guyed telecommunication transmission towers and their foundations in a variety of soil conditions.
