Expert was board certified in Surgical Critical Care by American Board of Surgery in 1989. Since then, Expert devoted his entire professional activities to the care of the critically ill and the critically injured. Clinical and research activities include investigating Human MAB-T88, Gram-negative Sepsis, Murine Monoclonal Antibody, TNF, Treatment of Patients with Septic Shock, Antibiotics in Abdominal Trauma, Intraabdominal Sepsis and Nosocomial Infections, Abdominal Sonogram for Trauma, Hemothorax, Hemopericardium, etc. His most recent research activity demonstrates that the need for prophylactic inferior vena cava filters may be over rated in the trauma patients and should be evaluated. Expert has been invitied to give lectures regarding the care of the severley injured patients. Expert is the director of trauma in the Philadelphia area. In the shock trauma unit, he managed to reach nationally recognized goals in the prevention of hospital acquired infections and the control of blood glucose for the critically ill.

Expert has a special interest in physicians reimbursement for medical care. Over the last 15 years he amassed significant knowledge about the complexity of the reimbursement and has been successful in his interaction with third party payers for the reimbursement for services denied. Expert is a member of the reimbursement committee of the National Foundation for Trauma Care and of the Billing and Coding committee of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. In both committees, Expert interacts with nationally renowned experts in billing and codings. Expert is involved in multiple projects related to his membership. In addition, Expert received his Executive MBA from Temple University Fox Business School.

Expert assisted a local hospital in PA twice to prepare and to pass the state audit to become a trauma center. He reviewed the hospital trauma patients care, met with the hospital leadership and provided criticism for some aspects of care. Expert also provided the strategy to pass the audit. Expert rendered opinions to attorneys about aspects of care and pertinence to the legal action.

Responsibilities:
Expert manages the trauma service. He is responsible for the quality and the efficiency of care. He is the quality officer for the division of trauma and a member of the peer review committee. Expert has given several depositions as an expert witness, a treating physician as well as a defendant.
