Request Expert

Expert is a board-certified psychiatrist with specialized training and clinical experience spanning integrative psychiatry, addiction medicine, psycho-oncology, and geriatric psychiatry. Expert holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and completed psychiatric residency training, including service as Chief Resident, at a major academic medical center in Arizona, along with specialized clinical rotations in psycho-oncology and integrative mental health.

Expert has practiced as an Attending Psychiatrist at a residential treatment facility and currently maintains an active attending psychiatry practice at a medical center in the San Francisco Bay Area, offering a blended inpatient, outpatient, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and ketamine treatment practice. Expert previously served as Medical Director of Geropsychiatry Services at the same medical center. Expert has pursued extensive specialized training in integrative and mind-body treatment modalities, including Eriksonian hypnotherapy, motivational interviewing, and Gestalt therapy techniques, and holds certifications as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Addiction Medicine, in addition to Neurostar TMS practitioner certification and advanced psychopharmacology certification.

Expert has contributed to psychiatric education through resident supervision and public lecturing on anxiety, mood disorders, and mental illness concepts for both clinical and patient/family audiences.
