Expert has implemented a number of real time disaster recovery (DR) systems, including one for a major hedge fund. These DR systems include real time replication of live data, high availability financial feeds, off-site facilities including desks, workstations and phone systems, and DR procedures and training for employees.
From an infrastructure standpoint Expert has managed the build-out of a number of Internet co-location facilities including firewalls, redundant routing, shared web services, load balancing and e-commerce services. He has also implemented VPN tunnels between corporate offices and remote access via VPN clients.
As CTO and EVP of Employer, Expert was instrumental in the development of the search engine optimization for Employer content and has worked extensively with Google AdSense and Google AdWords.
Expert has worked with a number of ISPs and as an intermediary between clients and their ISPs. Expert has provided expertise in domain name registration and hosting as well as standard web and mail hosting through his own facilities and business, NetWave Technologies, Inc.
Expert has worked on a number of ASP applications and secure remote connectivity solutions in addition to building a national intranet over VPN for a retail fashion manufacturer, connecting all of their stores and point of sales systems back to their corporate offices.
Expert was a Novell-certified instructor and Novell-certified engineer and as such worked with a wide variety of network protocols including Ethernet, Arcnet, Token Ring, etc.
As CTO of Employer, Expert managed development of the Employer system, a web-based application for the online construction and publication of multimedia content. This web-based application included automated search engine optimization and automatic distribution of media over a world wide content delivery network. Expert has also designed and managed a variety of B2B sites and WEB 2.0 sites providing a variety of secure interactive transaction processing services.
Managed developement of DragonflyConsulted with major pr firm RFBinder Partners (www.rfbinder.com) for a number years on their network design and implementation. Designed and implemented a VPN network for LaPerla Fashions, connecting all U.S. stores to the New York Corporate office.Designed UI for various applications for the City of New York as a consultant to IBM through GS PlanetBuilt and Managed a DR facility and infrastructure for Highland Financial Holdings.
